Why Did I Create a Publishing Company?
- Youngblood Publishing -
I created Youngblood Publishing because I wanted to have a children's book company that contained a collection of books parents and teachers could feel good about sharing and putting on their bookshelves, out for children to see and read. I want readers to know that when they see the Youngblood Publishing logo, they can be assured that they are about to read a story that is full of love, fun, and happiness. Readers will know that lots of care and attention to detail were put into the book and that they will be reading a quality story with a great message attached in either an obvious lesson, or as an underlying tone.

The goal of Youngblood Publishing is to get my books out in the hands of as many children (and adults) as possible so they can grow in their reading journey and learn new things in the process. I believe that reading is essential to gaining knowledge and will help children and adults in many areas of their own lives. I want children to know from my books that they are one-of-a-kind, loved and have amazing talents and imaginations. I hope children will use their talents and imaginations to help others, dream, and reach for their goals, whatever those goals and aspirations may be. (Same goes for parents, teachers, grandparents, and anyone else reading my books!)

Youngblood is my last name and Youngblood has a variety of meanings. Things such as: youthful, vigorous, fresh in ideas, new ideas and practices, young blossom, etc. The plant sprout incorporated into my company logo is meant to represent those meanings, as well as symbolizing a child starting out on their reading journey and growing in the process.
